Davisons A Family Success Story
Ian Davison and his father started the well known confectionery shop, the Chocolate Box in Peel in 1986. This shop became well known for its quality handmade Belgian chocolates and at the rear of the shop visitors could watch the production of all the delicious products. Pretty soon the demand meant that they had outgrown the area at the back of the shop.
Today Davisons factory is hundreds of times larger than the original premises. The Davisons originally famous for their chocolates are now even better known for their heavenly tasting Luxury Manx Dairy Ice cream which they have been making and selling since 1995. As well as a factory they operate an Ice Cream Parlour all year round on Peel Promenade, which sells not only ice cream but the delicious chocolates which they make.Currently the factory has a capacity to produce over 350 gallons of ice cream an hour. Davisons Ice Cream is made with the finest natural ingredients and flavours. Our extensive range of ice creams are made in over 100 flavours.Davison's Ice Cream Parlour has recently over gone a spectacular refurbishment, it now looks even more stunning. Selling all the current flavours, and a few more Parlour specials which you will have to go down to the ice cream parlour and find out the peculiarities, such as Kipper, Rhubarb and Ginger and Coconut and Lime.
